  • Futures are in the green this morning as “Treasury yields retreated from their highs from last week, easing concerns about inflation and that higher rates would undermine equity valuations,” according to CNBC.

  • The 16th state to legalize recreational marijuana in the USA is Virginia, but sales won’t start until 2024, according to Politico.
  • Hindenburg Research has released a new report on Ormat Technologies (ORA), alleging that the company has, “engaged in what we believe to be widespread and systematic acts of international corruption.”
  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) will begin shipping 3.9 million doses of their coronavirus vaccine to state and local governments today, just 2 days after the FDA approved the vaccine and 1 day after CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky signed off on the vaccine.
  • Athenex (ATNX) is down big time – roughly 56% at the time of typing – in premarket trading after the company’s New Drug Application for a potential treatment of metastatic breast cancer was deemed “not ready for approval in its present form” by the FDA, according to Seeking Alpha.
  • Saudi Arabian Airlines, which is state-owned, is planning to order 70 jets from Boeing (BA) and Airbus (EADSY), according to Business Insider.
  • United Airlines (UAL) has announced that it’s adding 25 more planes to its order for Boeing’s (BA) 737 Max jets, according to the New York Times.
  • Twilio (TWLO) is nearing a deal to invest $750 million in Syniverse Technologies and an official announcement could be announced today, according to The Wall Street Journal.
  • Mark Nelson, the CFO and Treasurer of Beyond Meat (BYND), intends to retire effective May 5th, according to Street Insider.
  • AstraZeneca (AZN) has sold its stake in Moderna (MRNA) for more than $1 billion, according to Reuters.
